We are thrilled to announce that we have officially opened up our Alberta Goalkeeping Program for registrations. We have a limited number of spots open so ensure that you don't miss out on being a part of the biggest up-incoming goalkeeping program in the province!
Motive Athletics will be providing weekly goalkeeper sessions over a 6 week block. Designed and coached by our passionate professional and collegiate goalkeepers! These goalkeeper sessions will be for goalkeepers born from 2007-2017, and will be grouped based on age and skill level.
In this program our goalkeepers will have access to:
Development Oriented Goalkeeper Training on a Weekly Basis.
These sessions have been designed by professional goalkeepers to help you improve your all-around goalkeeping skills. In this program, our coaches will take you through the 4 Pillars of Goalkeeping, whilst creating an enjoyable and safe environment for you to grow within the sport that we all love!
The 4 Pillars of Goalkeeping:
- Technical: Shotstopping, Handling, Distribution, etc.
- Tactical: Positioning and General Understanding of the Game.
- Physical: Speed, Power, Agility and Balance
- Mental: Focus, Confidence, and Wellbeing
Assessing each goalkeeper with a (private) report on their development and progression over each 6-week block.
Establishing understanding on where there is room for growth, and where the goalkeeper's strengths currently lay. This is done with a positive and reinforcing approach!
Goalkeepers will receive 25% off of our Motive Goalkeeper gloves — worn and created by professionals across North America.

Dates: July 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12
Location: Strathmore Ranch Market Soccer Field - 0B4 Ranch Gate, Strathmore, AB
Timings: Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm

The Motive Goalkeeper Program
Our Goalkeepers will also have the opportunity to purchase add ons such as:
- Mentorships from Professionals of your choice
Including 2 phone/ video calls and 1 game footage review throughout the 6 weeks.
As well as 1 email a week (throughout the 6 weeks), regarding any desired advice/ support, as well as any questions you may have to do with goalkeeping!
- Mental Performance Consultations
Including 2 phone or video calls throughout the 6 week program with our mental performance consultant. To help improve the mental side of your goalkeeping game.
- Game Film Review
Receiving a full game review. You are able to purchase more game reviews through requesting such via email.
